The aluminosilicate glass is strengthened by ion-exchange technology. In Belkin's internal tests it withstood up to 62% more force on average than conventional tempered glass protectors. It carries a 9H rating against low-carbon steel at 5H, using the ASTM D3363 pencil hardness test. At 0.29mm thick, it keeps a native touchscreen experience and crystal-clear viewing.

Eyesafe blue light filter technology reduces blue light by 60%, with filtration at 435-440 nm, to support eye comfort and sleep quality. An anti-fingerprint coating keeps the screen smudge-free, and an antimicrobial coating prevents discoloration. Coverage is flat and full-screen, with smooth edges that work with cases.

The glass contains a minimum of 60% GRS-certified post-industrial recycled glass, and the plastic packaging is 100% recycled. The box includes the protector, an Easy Align tray, a dust removal sticker and a cleaning cloth. Warranty is a limited lifetime warranty in the Americas and a 2-year limited warranty elsewhere.
