Parsec PC2404L30NMSM LSR240 Cable Kit for 4:1 Antennas, 4 x 30 ft, N-Type Male to SMA Male

Once an antenna moves outside or up to a roofline, the cable run gets longer and the connector at the antenna has to handle the weather. The Parsec PC2404L30NMSM addresses both. It provides four 30 ft LSR240 coaxial cables, one for each cellular element of a 4:1 antenna, terminated N-type male on one end and SMA male on the other.

Parsec describes type-N connectors as waterproof and designed to be hand tightened. That makes them a good fit at the antenna end of an outdoor installation, while SMA is the compact connector found on cellular routers and gateways. This kit bridges the two. Parsec's cable guidance recommends LSR200 for runs up to 25 ft, LSR240 up to 40 ft and LSR400 for 40 ft and beyond, so a 30 ft run steps up from LSR200 to LSR240.

Parsec treats cable as part of the link budget from the tower to the router, and cable loss increases with frequency. That makes cable grade more important for 5G mid-band and high-category LTE traffic. Matching cable grade to distance keeps more of the antenna's signal intact across the longer run. In Parsec's part number legend, 240 is LSR240, 4L is four cellular runs, 30 is 30 ft and NMSM is N-type male to SMA male.
