Overview

The Cradlepoint TAA-170767-000 COR Extensibility Cable adds a DB9/RS-232 serial connection to the IBR900, IBR600C and R500-PLTE routers. This black 305 mm SATA-to-DB9 cable supports GPS data over serial and serial redirect for reporting data over LTE. On the IBR900, it also supports OBD-II when paired with an OBD-II cable. It gives these routers the same serial connection functionality as the IBR1700, and it is the TAA-compliant version of part 170767-000.

The Cradlepoint TAA-170767-000 COR Extensibility Cable connects to a supported router's extensibility port through a SATA-type connector. The other end is a 9-pin DB9 connector that gives the router an RS-232 serial connection. Cradlepoint lists it for the IBR900, IBR600C and R500-PLTE, and it is the TAA-compliant version of part 170767-000.

The cable opens up several serial workflows. The router can send GPS data over the serial port to onboard equipment such as fleet systems.
