Overview

The Eaton Tripp Lite series U280-W04-145C4G is a 4-port USB-C GaN wall charger with 145W total output and USB Power Delivery 3.1. One port can deliver up to 140W (28V 5A) to a laptop such as a MacBook Pro, and the charger automatically divides power across up to four connected devices. Plug adapters for North America, Europe, the UK and Australia are included, so a single charger covers a laptop, phone and tablet at home or abroad.

The U280-W04-145C4G is a direct plug-in wall charger from the Eaton Tripp Lite series, built for people who carry a laptop, smartphone and tablet and want one power brick for all of them. Four USB-C ports share 145W of total output, and USB Power Delivery 3.1 support lets the C1 or C2 port supply up to 140W (28V 5A) to a single high-power laptop.

When more devices are connected, output is reallocated automatically. With two devices, one C1/C2 port can deliver 100W while a C3/C4 port supplies 45W, or C1 and C2 can each deliver 65W. With three devices, combinations reach 145W, and with all four ports in use the charger delivers 65W, 30W, 25W and 20W (140W total). GaN (gallium nitride) technology keeps the charger compact and efficient.

The input accepts 100-240V at 50/60 Hz, and the box includes NEMA 1-15P, CEE 7/7 Schuko, BS 1363 and AS/NZS 3112 plug adapters for North America, Europe, the UK and Australia. Built-in protection guards against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharging and short circuits. The charger carries UL 62368-1 and CSA C22.2 certifications, meets FCC Class B, CE, UKCA and RoHS requirements, and is covered by a 2-year limited worldwide warranty.
