Overview

The Eaton Tripp Lite series UPB-05K0-1C is a pocket-sized 5,000mAh lithium-ion power bank with a built-in USB-C connector that plugs directly into your phone, tablet or handheld game console. It supports up to 20W USB Power Delivery charging for iPhone 15 or newer, Samsung Galaxy and other USB-C devices. An adjustable kickstand keeps the screen usable while charging, and four LEDs show remaining capacity.

The UPB-05K0-1C is a compact, cable-free backup battery from the Eaton Tripp Lite series. Its built-in male USB-C connector plugs straight into the charging port of iPhone 15 or newer, Samsung Galaxy and other smartphones with USB-C inputs, as well as tablets, e-readers and handheld gaming consoles that charge at up to 20W over USB PD. A rubber cover protects the connector when it is not in use.

The built-in connector provides 5VDC 3A, 9VDC 2A or 12VDC 1.5A, for up to 20W of output, and the power bank switches off automatically when the connected device is fully charged. Its USB-C port recharges the internal 5,000mAh lithium-ion battery at 5 or 9 VDC from a computer or wall charger, using the included USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-A to USB-C cable that supports 20W charging. The same port can also charge a device when paired with a USB-C device cable.

An adjustable kickstand lets you keep the phone vertical for messages or horizontal for video while it charges. Press the button to see remaining capacity on four white LEDs; a green light indicates fast charging. Protection against short circuits, over-voltage, over-current, over-charge, over-discharge and over-temperature keeps devices safe. At 3.19 x 1.38 x 1.1 in and 0.23 lb, it slips easily into a pocket, purse or laptop bag. The unit is certified to UL 62368-1 and CSA C22.2 and meets FCC, CE and RoHS requirements.
