The Wilson Electronics 304420 is a wide band, omni-directional 50 Ohm cellular antenna for boats, yachts and other marine vehicles. It covers 698 MHz to 2.7 GHz, and its built-in ground plane lets it mount on metal, fiberglass or wood. It fits a standard 1-inch x 14 marine mount and includes 20 ft of white RG-58 cable with N-Male to SMA-Male connections.

The Wilson Electronics 304420 Marine Antenna is the outside antenna for boats that run a cellular signal booster or cellular router. Its omni-directional pattern picks up signal from nearby towers in every direction, which suits a vessel that turns and moves. Coverage runs from 698 MHz to 2.7 GHz (698-960 MHz and 1710-2700 MHz) at 4 dB gain.

Magnetic antennas need a metal surface, and most boats do not have one. The 304420 has a built-in ground plane, so it works on fiberglass, wood or metal. It threads onto a standard 1-inch x 14 marine mount, and the manufacturer describes it as weather resistant, durable and easy to install. The white radome measures 2.5 inches in diameter by 9.88 inches tall.

The antenna has an N-Female termination. The included 20 ft of white RG-58 coax runs from N-Male at the antenna to SMA-Male at the booster. The antenna has a 50 Ohm impedance. To use it with the weBoost Drive Reach Cell Signal Booster Kit (470154), add the SMA Female to SMB Adapter (970019), sold separately. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty.
