Overview
The WilsonPro IoT 3.0 (460079) is a direct-connect cellular amplifier kit that cables straight to a data modem. It strengthens LTE connectivity for ATMs, point-of-sale terminals, digital displays, security systems and other IoT equipment in weak-signal locations. It covers bands 12, 13, 5, 4 and 25/2 with 15 dB maximum gain. Power over coax allows flexible antenna placement, and passive RF bypass keeps the modem connected if the amplifier loses power.
- Direct-connect amplifier that cables to a cellular data modem
- Bands 12, 13, 5, 4 and 25/2 with 15 dB maximum gain and 24 dBm maximum uplink power
- Passive RF bypass keeps the modem transmitting if the amplifier loses power
- Power over coax lets the antenna be placed at the point of best signal
- 12V AC/DC power supply and 12V DC hardwire cable included for fixed or vehicle installs
- Pre-approved by all major US carriers under FCC Part 20 rules
- Keeps ATMs, POS terminals and kiosks transacting in weak-signal locations
- Maintains basic signal through power outages via passive RF bypass
The WilsonPro IoT 3.0 (460079) is a direct-connect signal amplifier for cellular-enabled equipment. Rather than rebroadcasting signal into a room, it cables directly to a data modem. This delivers consistent, hardwired cellular connectivity to point-of-sale devices, digital displays, ATMs, vending machines, kiosks, security systems and inventory management equipment. Wilson rates the boost at 5X signal strength, and the compact 5.4 x 4.2 x 1.4 in amplifier fits inside tightly constrained enclosures.
The amplifier covers Band 12 and 13 (700 MHz), Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz) and Band 25/2 (1900 MHz). It provides 15 dB maximum gain, 24 dBm maximum uplink power and 5 dB nominal noise figure, with auto-power control to maximize signal output. Power over coax lets the antenna sit where the signal is strongest. Passive RF bypass reroutes signal through a passive path if power is lost, so basic transmission continues during an outage. Wilson also lists dual amplifiers supporting 2x2 and 4x4 MIMO configurations for high-data-rate devices.
One kit covers several installation types. The 12V AC/DC supply suits ATMs and kiosks near an outlet, and the 12V DC hardwire cable suits vehicle-powered LTE modem hotspots. MCX and MMCX adapter cables interface with cellular home and business security systems. The IoT 3.0 is compatible with all US carrier networks, including AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, and is pre-approved by all major carriers under FCC Part 20 rules.
This is not a consumer device. It is intended for installation by FCC licensees and qualified installers, and operation requires an FCC license or the express consent of an FCC licensee. The amplifier is assembled in the USA and carries a 3-year warranty from purchase. A manufacturer spec sheet is available.
