Overview

The Netgear Omnidirectional MIMO Antenna (6000451-10000S) is a slim external antenna that improves reception for NETGEAR 3G/4G/5G mobile hotspots and USB modems with TS-9 or SMA connectors. It covers 600-960 MHz and 1710-5925 MHz with up to 2.5 dB gain. It comes with two SMA connectors, two TS-9 converters, a 100 cm cable, and clips and suction cups for mounting on a window or laptop. Installation requires no software.

When a mobile hotspot sits deep inside a building, in a vehicle or at a remote site, its internal antennas are often the limiting factor. The Netgear 6000451 Omnidirectional MIMO Antenna moves reception to a better spot, such as a window or the lid of a laptop, and connects to the hotspot or modem through a 100 cm (39.37 in) cable. Its omnidirectional pattern needs no aiming, and the MIMO design uses both of the device's antenna connectors.

The antenna covers 600-960 MHz and 1710-5925 MHz with up to 2.5 dB gain. NETGEAR rates it for GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/HSPA+ DC/CDMA/EV-DO/WiMAX/LTE/5G across those ranges. It ships with two SMA connectors and two TS-9 converters.
