The Wilson Electronics 901117 is a compact mounting kit for the outdoor (donor) antenna in a cell phone signal booster system. It includes a wall mount bracket, a U-bracket assembly and a 10 in. aluminum mast with a 1.5 in. diameter. That covers the hardware needed to fix an external antenna to a building surface.
The short mast suits installations where the antenna only needs to stand off the wall rather than rise high above the roofline. The wall mount bracket attaches to the structure and the mast seats in it. The U-bracket assembly then clamps the antenna to the mast, which is a common arrangement for directional Yagi antennas that need to be aimed and locked in position. Aluminum construction keeps the assembly light at 1.5 x 1.5 x 10 in. and suits outdoor exposure.
Installers use the 901117 to replace lost or damaged mounting hardware and to relocate a donor antenna. It also gives a fixed mounting option to kits that shipped with a different mount. Some assembly is required.
