Overview

The Wilson 952003 is Wilson's highest-performing coaxial cable: a 1/2-inch, 50 Ohm, plenum-rated cable for professional in-building DAS installations. It has a copper-clad aluminum center conductor, a corrugated aluminum tube outer conductor and a white, flame-retardant, low-smoke PVDF jacket. It is ETL certified and CMP (UL 444) rated, with low attenuation and low PIM. It ships as 500 ft. on a wooden spool with unterminated ends.

The Wilson 1/2-inch Plenum Cable (952003) is built for the plenum spaces of commercial and industrial buildings as part of a Distributed Antenna System. It is a 1/2-inch, 50 Ohm, low-loss coax with a copper-clad aluminum center conductor, an air dielectric structure on a polyethylene spline, and a helically corrugated aluminum tube outer conductor. The outer jacket is white, flame-retardant, low-smoke PVDF. Due to supply constraints, jacket colour and appearance may vary.

Wilson calls this its highest-performing coaxial cable. Published attenuation per 100 ft. is 0.40 dB at 30 MHz, 2.19 dB at 824 MHz, 3.25 dB at 1700 MHz, 3.93 dB at 2400 MHz and 4.44 dB at 3000 MHz. Low passive intermodulation and high-efficiency signal transfer make it well suited to long horizontal and riser runs. It is ETL certified and CMP (UL 444) rated, so it is safe to use throughout a building, including air-carrying and plenum spaces. It is rated for operation from -4 to 167 °F (-20 to 75 °C).

Each 500 ft. length comes on a wooden spool with unterminated ends and weighs 120 lbs. (55 kg). Connectors and tools are sold separately. Compatible N-Male connectors are the 970014-10 and 990074, and compatible cable prep tools are the 992208, or the 992207 with the 992206. The cable is only for use in professional DAS installations.
