Overview

The Cisco ANT-4G-OMNI-OUT-N= is an outdoor omnidirectional stick antenna for 2G, 3G and 4G cellular links on Cisco industrial routers. It covers ten frequency ranges from 698 MHz to 3800 MHz, including LTE700, Cellular, PCS, AWS, CBRS and LTE2600. Peak gain runs from 1.5 to 5.2 dBi. It has an N-type female connector, a UV-stable IP55 polycarbonate radome and a mast mount bracket for upright installation.

The Cisco Outdoor Omnidirectional Antenna for 2G/3G/4G Cellular (ANT-4G-OMNI-OUT-N=) is a mast-mounted stick antenna for Cisco industrial and Connected Grid routers. It moves the cellular antenna out of the enclosure and up to where the signal is. Cisco designed it to cover domestic LTE700, Cellular, PCS, AWS and MDS bands, WiMAX 2300/2500, and GSM900, GSM1800, UMTS, CBRS and LTE2600. Cisco does not claim support for FDD46 and TDD71.

The antenna spans ten frequency ranges between 698 MHz and 3800 MHz with vertical polarization and an omnidirectional radiation pattern. That makes it a good fit where towers can be in any direction or where the router serves more than one carrier. Peak gain is 1.5 dBi from 698 to 960 MHz, 3.5 dBi from 1710 to 2690 MHz and 5.2 dBi from 3400 to 3800 MHz. It has 50-ohm impedance and a 20 W power rating.

The antenna is built for exposed sites. The white polycarbonate radome is UV stable and rated IP55, with two drain slots at the base. For that reason, Cisco specifies an upright mast mount with the connector at the bottom. It operates from -40 to +70°C and is rated for 120 mph operational and 136 mph survival wind. At 9.8 x 1 in and 156 g, it adds little load to a mast. It connects through an N-type female connector and is RoHS compliant.
