Radionix B40-MB50 Outdoor Multiband Cellular Antenna with 50 ft Cable

The Radionix B40-MB50 is a mechanically robust auxiliary antenna for alarm panels that report over cellular through Conettix Plug-in Cellular Communicators. When the panel sits in a basement, a metal enclosure or a weak-signal area, the B40-MB50 lets installers place the antenna where coverage is better. Its 50 ft (15.2 m) cable spans the distance back to the panel. It suits both indoor and outdoor installation and offers wide bandwidth with a low-angle radiation pattern. Radionix notes that in many applications this design outperforms traditional gain antennas.

The antenna covers 698-960 MHz and 1710-2700 MHz with a vertically polarized, omnidirectional pattern. Nominal peak gain is 3.5 dBi at 698-960 MHz, 5.5 dBi at 1710-1990 MHz and 4.6 dBi at 2100-2700 MHz, with average efficiency of 80 to 91% across those ranges. The coverage includes US LTE 700, global LTE 2600, US cellular, global GSM and WiMAX 2300/2500/2600 bands for 2G, 3G and 4G data. The cable attaches through a removable NMO (new Motorola mount) connection.

The installation manual lists compatibility with the B440, B441, B442 and B443 communicators. The datasheet also lists the B444 Conettix Plug-in 4G VZW LTE Cellular Communicator. The weather-resistant antenna measures 3.3 in tall by 1.44 in deep and handles up to 100 W. Radionix lists the B40-MB50 as discontinued. A datasheet and installation manual are available.
