The Fortinet FANT-3IN1-RND-5M is a rugged three-in-one permanent-mount antenna for vehicle roofs and fixed outdoor sites. A single IP67 polycarbonate housing contains two 5G/4G LTE MIMO elements covering 600 MHz to 6 GHz and one active GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo antenna with a SAW filter and low-noise amplifier. It connects through an integrated 5-meter low-loss cable with SMA male connectors and is listed as compatible with cellular FortiGate, FortiGateRugged, FortiExtender and FortiExtender Vehicle models.
The FANT-3IN1-RND-5M is Fortinet's round 5G/LTE/GNSS antenna for moving the cellular radio's antennas out of the enclosure and onto a vehicle roof, wall or pole. It is built for field fleets, remote sites and branch deployments that run FortiGate or FortiExtender cellular hardware and need a stronger, clearer signal path than internal or stub antennas provide.
Inside the IP67 polycarbonate housing are two omnidirectional, linearly polarized 5G/4G LTE MIMO elements covering 617 MHz through 3800 MHz plus 5150–5925 MHz, including low-band 5G NR Band 71, LTE 700, CBRS Band 48 and mid-band 5G NR Bands 77/78. Peak gain reaches 4.28 dBi in the 3300–3800 MHz range. The third element is an active RHCP GNSS patch for GPS L1, GLONASS, BeiDou B1 and Galileo, with a front-end SAW filter and LNA delivering 32.4 dBic total gain at 1575.42 MHz (±3).
Each feed uses 0.3 m of RG-174LL joined to 4.7 m of TGC-200 low-loss cable, terminating in SMA male connectors. The housing measures Ø160 mm by 57.47 mm, is sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring, and is rated from -40°C to 85°C. It roof-mounts on a vehicle through an M22 thread; wall or pole installation uses a mounting bracket sold separately.
Fortinet lists the antenna for FortiGate 40F-3G4G, FortiGateRugged 60F-3G4G and 70F-3G4G, FortiExtender 101G, 201F, 202F (two antennas), 211G and FortiExtender Vehicle 211F. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and full electrical detail is published in the Fortinet Rugged Accessories Data Sheet.
Fortinet lists it for the FortiGate 40F-3G4G, FortiGateRugged 60F-3G4G and 70F-3G4G, FortiExtender 101G, 201F, 202F (x2), 211G and the FortiExtender Vehicle 211F (noted with a footnote in the datasheet).
Each 5G/4G and GNSS feed runs 0.3 m of RG-174LL joined to 4.7 m of TGC-200 low-loss cable, for 5 m in total, and ends in an SMA male connector.
Yes. It roof-mounts on vehicles through an M22 thread, and for fixed outdoor sites it can be wall or pole mounted using a mounting bracket that is sold separately.
The active GNSS element covers GPS L1, GLONASS L1CR and L1PT, BeiDou B1 and Galileo E2 and L1. It uses a front-end SAW filter and low-noise amplifier, with total gain of 32.4 ±3 dBic at 1575.42 MHz at 3 V.
It has an IP67-rated polycarbonate enclosure sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring, and is rated for -40°C to 85°C and non-condensing humidity of 95% RH at 65°C.
