The Fortinet FANT-5IN1-RND-5M is a rugged, round 5-in-1 permanent-mount antenna for vehicle roofs or fixed outdoor sites. It combines four 5G/4G LTE MIMO elements covering 600 MHz to 6 GHz with one active GNSS antenna for GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. The antenna is housed in an IP67 polycarbonate enclosure and connects over an integrated 5 m low-loss cable with SMA male connectors. Fortinet lists it as compatible with FG, FGR, FEX and FEV models with cellular capability.
The Fortinet FANT-5IN1-RND-5M is a 5-in-1 5G/4G LTE/GNSS antenna built for Fortinet cellular deployments that need the antenna outside the enclosure, cabinet or vehicle. Fortinet designates it for FortiGate (FG), FortiGate Rugged (FGR), FortiExtender (FEX) and FEV models with cellular capability. It suits IT and field-operations teams connecting branch sites, kiosks, remote cabinets and fleet vehicles.
Inside the round housing are four omnidirectional, linearly polarized 5G/4G LTE MIMO antennas covering 600 MHz to 6 GHz. Fortinet publishes per-element efficiency and gain for bands from 5G NR Band 71 (617-698 MHz) through NR Bands 77/78/79 (3300-3800 MHz) and 5150-5925 MHz, with peak gain up to 4.28 dBi. A fifth element is an active RHCP GNSS patch antenna with a front-end SAW filter and low-noise amplifier. It covers GPS L1, GLONASS, BeiDou B1, Galileo and SBAS for location tracking, with total gain of up to 32.4 dBic at 3 V.
The enclosure and base are polycarbonate, sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring to IP67. The antenna is rated for -40°C to 85°C and non-condensing humidity up to 95% RH. It installs as a roof mount on vehicles. For outdoor wall or pole installs, a mounting bracket is required and is sold separately. An integrated 5 m cable (0.3 m RG-174LL plus 4.7 m TGC-200) ends in SMA male connectors, so the router can stay indoors while the antenna sits where the signal is. The antenna is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Full electrical, band and mechanical data is published in the Fortinet Rugged Accessories Data Sheet.
Fortinet lists it as compatible with FG, FGR, FEX and FEV models with cellular capability. The FortiExtenderWAN 50G-AM, FortiExtenderWAN 50G-EA and FortiExtender Rugged 511G are listed as not applicable because they use internal antennas.
It has an integrated 5 m cable made of 0.3 m RG-174LL and 4.7 m TGC-200. The cable runs to SMA male connectors for both the 5G/4G and GNSS elements.
Yes. It installs as a roof mount on vehicles and can be wall- or pole-mounted outdoors. Outdoor wall or pole mounting requires a mounting bracket, which is a separately purchased accessory.
The active GNSS antenna covers GPS L1, GLONASS L1CR/L1PT, BeiDou B1, Galileo E2/L1, Compass and SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS). It includes a front-end SAW filter and a low-noise amplifier.
The polycarbonate enclosure and base are IP67 rated and sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring. The antenna is rated for -40°C to 85°C and non-condensing humidity up to 95% RH.
