The Fortinet FANT-7IN1-RND-5M is a round, permanent-mount 7-in-1 antenna for vehicle roofs and fixed outdoor sites. It combines four 5G/4G LTE MIMO elements covering 600 MHz to 6 GHz, two 2.4/5.8 GHz Wi-Fi MIMO elements and an active GNSS antenna for GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. Everything sits in an IP67 polycarbonate enclosure with integrated 5m low-loss cables. It is built for Fortinet FG, FGR, FEX and FEV models with cellular capability.
The Fortinet FANT-7IN1-RND-5M is a rugged 7-in-1 outdoor antenna for cellular-equipped Fortinet deployments. It works with FortiGate (FG), FortiGate Rugged (FGR), FortiExtender (FEX) and FEV models. Seven antennas share one round housing, 160 mm in diameter, so a single roof or pole location covers WAN, Wi-Fi client and positioning. This suits fleet vehicles, kiosks, remote cabinets and branch sites where the router sits indoors or inside a vehicle and the signal is outside.
Four 5G/4G LTE MIMO elements cover 600 MHz to 6 GHz. That span runs from low-band Band 71 through the 3.3-3.8 GHz mid-band range. Fortinet publishes support for 5G NR FR1, LTE, LTE-Advanced, WCDMA and HSPA+ bands including 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 25, 41, 48, 66 and 71. Peak gain reaches up to 6.28 dBi on the cellular elements. The cellular and Wi-Fi elements are omnidirectional and linearly polarized, rated at 50 Ω and 2W maximum input.
The two Wi-Fi MIMO elements cover 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, with up to 7.03 dBi peak gain at 5 GHz. The GNSS element is an active RHCP patch with a front-end SAW filter and low-noise amplifier, delivering 32.4 ±3 dBic total gain at 1575.42 MHz. It receives GPS L1, GLONASS G1, BeiDou B1C/B1I, Galileo E1, QZSS and SBAS.
The cabling is integrated, with no field termination needed. It includes 5m TGC-200 runs for cellular and Wi-Fi and a 5m RG-174 run for GNSS. Cellular and GNSS leads end in SMA male connectors, and the Wi-Fi leads end in RP-SMA male. The IP67 polycarbonate enclosure is sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring and is rated from -40°C to 85°C. It mounts directly to a vehicle roof through an M22 thread. Wall or pole installation uses a separately purchased mounting bracket. The antenna is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Fortinet lists it as compatible with FG, FGR, FEX and FEV models that have cellular capability.
It installs as a permanent roof mount on vehicles using an M22 thread. For fixed outdoor sites it mounts on a wall or pole with a mounting bracket, which is sold separately as an accessory.
Each element has an integrated 5m cable: TGC-200 for the 5G/4G and Wi-Fi leads and RG-174 for GNSS. The 5G/4G and GNSS leads use SMA male connectors, and the Wi-Fi leads use RP-SMA male.
GPS L1, GLONASS G1, BeiDou B1C/B1I, Galileo E1, plus QZSS L1 and SBAS. The GNSS element is active, with a front-end SAW filter and low-noise amplifier.
Yes. The polycarbonate enclosure is rated IP67, sealed with a rubber stopper and O-ring, and specified for -40°C to 85°C and non-condensing humidity up to 95% RH.
