Keep your NMO whip and add GPS without another hole. The Panorama GPSNMO-FF is a combination base that places an active GPS antenna beneath a standard NMO mount, so the existing two-way or cellular whip screws on top while the GPS element feeds your tracking receiver. Both functions exit on 0.3 m leads — FME (F) for one path, FME (M) for the other — ready to adapt to the equipment.
Thousands of fleet vehicles already have an NMO mount serving a two-way radio or cellular whip, and the GPSNMO-FF lets that single position do double duty. The base integrates an active GPS antenna with a standard NMO fitting: the existing whip threads on exactly as before, while the GPS element underneath supplies positioning to an AVL or telematics receiver.
Each function gets its own 0.3 m lead — one terminated FME female, one FME male — so installers can adapt to SMA, TNC, Mini-UHF, or whatever the radio and receiver require using standard FME adapters. The short pigtails keep the mount tidy and let extension runs be specified per vehicle instead of coiling excess cable in the headliner.
Because the GPSNMO-FF is a standard passive-coax install, deployment is simple: route the cable, connect it to the receiver's antenna input, and confirm fix quality in the device's GPS diagnostics. For fleets and IoT estates, that makes positioning a predictable line item — one part number, one connector, and the same result on every unit.
Any GPS/GNSS receiver or cellular router with an active-antenna GPS input and a matching connector — including Cradlepoint, Sierra Wireless, Digi, and Peplink platforms as well as dedicated telematics and AVL units. The receiver supplies bias voltage to the antenna's built-in LNA over the coax.
It is an active antenna: a built-in low-noise amplifier boosts the satellite signal before it travels down the coax, so the receiver sees a clean signal even after cable losses. The LNA is powered by the receiver's bias voltage over the same cable.
Yes — the base presents a standard NMO fitting, so any NMO-mount whip (VHF, UHF, or cellular) threads on as it would on a plain NMO mount. The GPS element operates independently underneath.
The GPSNMO-FF combination base with 0.3 m FME (F) and FME (M) leads and mounting hardware. NMO whip, extension cables, and receiver sold separately.
