Overview

The Panorama LGMM-EXT-R-SLT is a mounting kit for fitting LGMM/LPMM low-profile MIMO antennas to ribbed, curved or uneven roof panels, like those on SUVs and light commercial vehicles. It includes a slotted mounting bush extender, nut, washer, and a pair of foam pads that seal the mounting hole and follow the roof contour. The slotted bush lets larger connectors such as FAKRA pass through.

The Panorama LGMM-EXT-R-SLT adapts the LGMM/LPMM low-profile MIMO antenna series to roofs that are not flat. Ribbed roof panels are common on SUVs, panel vans and light commercial vehicles, and they make a standard antenna base hard to seat and seal. This kit solves that problem. It also works on curved or uneven roofs.

The kit contains a mounting bush extender, a nut, a washer, a semi closed-cell outer EPDM foam pad and a closed-cell silicone inner foam pad. Once the antenna and pads are fitted and properly compressed, the non-porous pads seal the mounting hole and mould to the shape of the roof for a clean finish. The slotted mounting bush, nut and washers let larger terminations such as FAKRA connectors pass through, so pre-terminated antenna cables don't need to be cut.

Panorama states the kit can be used with all Great White, Great White 5G, Mako and Mako 5G antennas. That makes it a sensible standard part for fleets running those models across mixed vehicle types. The kit is black. Panorama publishes a datasheet and installation instructions (SW3-669).
