Overview

This is a demo unit of the Microsoft Surface Pro for Business 5G, 13-inch (11th Edition) in Platinum, part number M0W-00001. It uses the same configuration as ZFB-00001: a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite, a 13-inch OLED PixelSense Flow touchscreen, 16GB LPDDR5x memory and a removable 512GB Gen 4 SSD. Built-in 5G NR with nanoSIM and eSIM keeps this Windows 11 Pro Copilot+ PC online away from Wi-Fi. It is a US/Canada configuration with English, Canadian French and Spanish language support.

The Microsoft Surface Pro for Business 5G (11th Edition), part number M0W-00001, is sold as a demo unit. It shares the configuration of the retail ZFB-00001: Snapdragon X Elite (12 Core), OLED display, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Platinum finish and 5G. It suits IT teams and mobile professionals who want the top 5G Surface Pro configuration as a Windows 11 Pro Copilot+ PC that works as a tablet or, with a Surface Pro keyboard, as a laptop. It is a US/Canada SKU with English, Canadian French and Spanish language support.

The integrated 5G modem supports 5G-NR SA/NSA with downloads of up to 2.9 Gbps. It falls back to Gigabit LTE-Advanced Pro (DL Cat 19 up to 1.6 Gbps, UL Cat 18) and WCDMA. Band coverage includes n41, n71, n77 and n78 plus LTE bands 2, 4, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71. Both nanoSIM and eSIM are supported, alongside Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and multi-constellation GNSS. Microsoft rates the 5G model at up to 9 hours of active web use on cellular.

The 13-inch 2880 x 1920 OLED panel refreshes at up to 120Hz, reaches 900 nits HDR peak brightness and has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. A Qualcomm Hexagon NPU rated at 45 TOPS powers Windows Studio Effects on the 1440p ultrawide front camera, along with Copilot+ features such as Cocreator and Live Captions. Two USB4 ports handle charging, data and DisplayPort 1.4a output.

For managed fleets, security comes from the Microsoft Pluton security processor, TPM 2.0 with BitLocker, Secured-core PC protections and Windows Hello face sign-in. The device can be managed with Microsoft Intune. The SSD, battery, display and other major components are replaceable through authorized service providers. Note that NFC is not included on 5G configurations.
