The Taoglas Olympian III MA182.A.001 is a 2-in-1 permanent screw mount antenna with two 5G/4G MIMO elements covering 600-6000 MHz, including worldwide LTE, many 5G FR1 bands and 3G/2G fallback. It comes in a compact Ø59.45 x 70 mm IP67 ASA enclosure with 1 m TGC-1.5DS cables terminated in straight SMA(M) connectors. It suits 5G and LTE routers and gateways on vehicles, signage and outdoor monitoring equipment.

The Taoglas Olympian III MA182.A.001 delivers two 5G/4G MIMO antennas in one low-profile, permanently mounted housing. It stands 70 mm tall and 59.45 mm in diameter, and it is built for external use on vehicles and outdoor assets that need 4G-5G MIMO connectivity. The antenna mounts from the inside of the host enclosure, and its small thread allows installation where space is limited.

Both elements cover 600-6000 MHz. That range includes worldwide LTE bands, many sub-6 GHz 5G FR1 bands (the 617-698 MHz Band 71 range through 3300-5000 MHz for bands 77, 78 and 79) and 3G/2G fallback. The elements are omnidirectional and linearly polarized, with 50 Ω impedance and VSWR under 2. Peak gain reaches 6.79 dBi on a 30 x 30 cm ground plane, and maximum input power is 2 W. Taoglas characterizes performance in free space, on a 30 x 30 cm ground plane and on a metal box. The design suppresses cable radiation so the antenna works on both metal and plastic structures. For metal-box installations, Taoglas recommends using element 2 as the primary antenna and element 1 as secondary/diversity. Taoglas also recommends a minimum 1 m cable length for stable performance.

The ASA enclosure is IP67 rated and resists vandalism. An integrated rubber O-ring prevents water ingress under the antenna. The antenna operates and stores from -40°C to +85°C and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The Taoglas datasheet documents the full per-band measurements.

No. The MA182.A.001 is a 2-in-1 antenna with two 5G/4G MIMO elements only. The 3-in-1 Olympian III MA181.A.001 adds a GNSS element.

What frequencies does it cover?

Both elements cover 600-6000 MHz. That includes Band 71 (617-698 MHz), low-band LTE, mid-band, 2300-2690 MHz, 3300-5000 MHz (bands 42, 48, 77, 78, 79) and 5150-5925 MHz, along with 3G/2G fallback.
