Taoglas Stream MA231.LBC.020 3-in-1 GNSS, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi Adhesive Mount Antenna

The Stream MA231 is Taoglas' 3-in-1 M2M antenna for telematics, transportation and remote monitoring. Instead of three separate antennas, one 200.5 x 68.23 x 11.5 mm ABS housing carries a GNSS antenna for GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, a cellular antenna covering 700-960, 1710-2170 and 2500-2690 MHz for 4G LTE with 3G/2G fallback, and a Wi-Fi antenna covering 2400-2484 and 5150-5850 MHz.

The GNSS side uses a custom Taoglas 35 mm patch on an extended integral ground plane, with typical zenith gain of 1.3 dBi at 1575.42 MHz and 2.9 dBi at 1602 MHz. A front-end SAW filter reduces radiated spurious emissions. The same extended ground plane lets the internal cellular PIFA deliver a wideband 4G/3G/2G response, with efficiency of at least 70% at 700 MHz and at least 50% across 1710-1990 MHz.

The housing is fully IP67 waterproof and attaches with a 3M 1600TB adhesive pad, so no drilling is required. The Stream performs best on plastic or glass, such as inside a windscreen or under a composite roof panel; on metal, add at least 40 mm of foam spacing. It operates from -40°C to +85°C at 20% to 95% relative humidity.

MA231.LBC.020 is a cable and connector variant of the standard MA231.LBC.003. The GNSS lead is 254 mm RG174 with a right-angle SMA(M), the cellular lead is 203 mm CFD200 with SMA(M), and the Wi-Fi lead is 254 mm, keeping cable loss low when the antenna is mounted near the router, gateway or telematics unit.
