The Taoglas Sentinel MA250.A.LBI.003 is a 3-in-1 combination antenna for vehicles and remote equipment. It combines two 4G LTE MIMO elements covering 698-2690 MHz, with fallback to 2G and 3G bands, and an active GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou L1 element. The IP67 housing is 14 mm tall and mounts with automotive-grade 3M adhesive on glass or plastic. This ordering variant has 5 m cables, with RG-174 on the GNSS lead and TGC-200 on the two cellular MIMO leads.

The Taoglas Sentinel MA250 is an omnidirectional 3-in-1 external M2M antenna for telematics, transportation and remote monitoring. It is designed to mount directly on glass or plastic inside a vehicle cab. Taoglas also rates it for internal or external mounting. The housing measures 139.27 x 76.27 x 14 mm, and Taoglas states its performance is comparable with much larger permanent roof-mount antennas, which makes it a practical in-cabin alternative.

Two cellular elements provide 2x2 MIMO for worldwide 4G LTE bands at 700, 800, 1700, 1800, 2300 and 2600 MHz, with fallback to common 2G and 3G bands. Taoglas designs the two MIMO elements for high isolation to limit self-interference, and uses dielectric ceramic antenna technology to keep the antenna small without losing efficiency. The third element is an active GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou L1 antenna. Its LNA and SAW filter deliver a typical total gain of 28.6 dBi at 1575.42 MHz when powered at 3.0 V.

MA250.A.LBI.003 is the cable and connector ordering variant of the standard MA250.A.LBI.001: • All leads are 5 m, suited to installations where the router or telematics unit sits away from the windshield. • The GNSS lead uses RG-174 cable with an SMA(M) connector. • The LTE MIMO 1 and MIMO 2 leads use TGC-200 cable.

The ABS housing is IP67 rated, operates from -40°C to 85°C and uses 3M 1600TB-10 foam adhesive. The antenna is RoHS and REACH compliant. Typical applications include HD video over LTE, first responder and emergency services vehicles, automotive vehicle tracking and telematics.
