The front is 0.33 mm curved glass rated 9H for scratch resistance, tested against the ASTM D3363 pencil hardness method. The curved surface covers the entire screen area and wraps into a polycarbonate bumper that guards the edges of the watch against scratches and scuffs. On the black version the bumper has a matte finish. Belkin designed the glass composition to respond to touch like the original screen and tested it for brightness, sharpness and detail, so photos, notifications and watch faces stay clear.
Installation is snap-on and snap-off, so the protector can be fitted or removed without adhesive. Access to buttons, functions and charging is maintained.
