Overview

The Teltonika PR1AS420 moves a RUT router's cellular antenna off the chassis and onto glass or plastic: an adhesive-mount LTE element on a cable, terminated SMA for the router's mobile ports. It terminates in a SMA male connector for tool-free installation. Stick the element where signal lives - a window, a panel - and the cabinet-bound router stops starving.

Teltonika's RUT routers often work from the worst RF real estate on site: inside metal cabinets, under counters, behind machinery. The PR1AS420 is the factory answer - an adhesive-mount mobile antenna that relocates the LTE element to a window, plastic enclosure wall, or interior panel and feeds the router over its integrated cable to an SMA plug. Teltonika lists it across the RUT lineup: RUT230, RUT240, RUT900, RUT950, RUT955, RUTX08, and beyond. It is the standard first fix when a RUT router shows one bar in the cabinet and four bars a meter away.

The cellular antenna is tuned for 4G LTE cellular service and terminates in a SMA male connector. Moving the element a meter out of a steel cabinet often does more than any high-gain whip on the chassis could.

Clean the surface, stick the element at the strongest signal point - run a quick survey with the router's signal readout - and thread the SMA onto the mobile port. For MIMO routers, add a second unit and keep spacing between elements.

Which hardware is the PR1AS420 designed for?

Teltonika specifies it for the RUT230, RUT240, RUT900, RUT950, RUT955, RUTX08, and other RUT-series routers with SMA mobile antenna ports. Any of those models can take it on either main or auxiliary cellular ports.
