Overview

The Parsec Great Pyrenees PRO12GP8L2WBG15B is a 12-in-1 omni-directional external antenna for vehicle and fixed wireless deployments. A single IP67-rated, low-profile black housing holds eight 4G/5G cellular elements arranged as two separate 4x4 MIMO sets, so one antenna can serve a dual-radio, dual-SIM router on two carriers. It also includes two Wi-Fi elements, a Bluetooth element and an L1 GPS element. Covering 617 MHz to 5925 MHz, it is built for public safety fleets, transportation and enterprise sites. It ships with 15 ft cables.

The Great Pyrenees PRO Series is Parsec's multi-carrier 5G antenna for routers that run two cellular modems at once. This PRO12GP8L2WBG15B configuration packs 12 elements into one housing. Eight are 4G/5G cellular elements that form two independent 4x4 MIMO sets. One set is tuned for T-Mobile's Band 71 at 600 MHz. The other two elements serve Wi-Fi, one serves Bluetooth and one serves L1 GPS. Parsec designed the antenna to run dual radios and dual SIMs on two separate carriers without interference, with high port isolation and radiated efficiency of up to 85%.

Cellular coverage spans 617-894 MHz, 1710-2700 MHz, 3300-4000 MHz and 5150-5925 MHz. That covers the common North American LTE and 5G bands, including n41, n71 and n77, as well as CBRS (B48/n48) and LAA (B46). EMEA bands are also listed. The Wi-Fi elements cover 2400-2483.5 MHz and 4900-5900 MHz and are Wi-Fi 6 compatible. The GPS element is an active L1 antenna with 28 dBic combined antenna and preamp gain.

The radome measures 10.75 in across and stands 2.23 in tall. It is made of UV-stabilised plastic and sealed to IP67. It operates from -40 °C to 85 °C and installs through a single 1.5 in hole on a roof. Parsec also offers pole mount brackets and a magnetic mount as accessories. Cellular leads are LSR200 with SMA(M) connectors, Wi-Fi leads are LSR200 with RP-SMA(M) connectors, and the GPS lead is LSR100 with an SMA(M) connector. All cables are 15 ft long.

Parsec publishes a datasheet, an installation guide and a part number legend for the Great Pyrenees family. Those documents make it straightforward to plan cabling and mounting for ambulances, police and fire vehicles, command centers, remote video and fixed wireless rooftops.
