Overview

The Parsec Rottweiler PRO5R2L2WG15B combines two 4G/5G cellular elements, two Wi-Fi elements and an L1 GPS element in one low-profile, omnidirectional IP67 housing. It is built for vehicle routers in emergency fleets, police cruisers, transit and industrial equipment. Peak gain reaches 8.5 dBi on cellular and 9 dBi on Wi-Fi. It ships in black with the standard 1.25 in mounting bolt and 15 ft cables: SMA male for cellular and GPS, RP-SMA male for Wi-Fi.

The Parsec Rottweiler PRO5R2L2WG15B is the standard 5:1 configuration of Parsec's Rottweiler PRO Series. It combines 2x2 MIMO 4G/5G cellular, 2x2 Wi-Fi and GPS in a single omnidirectional housing. At roughly 1.45 in tall, it gives a vehicle router one clean rooftop antenna for its WAN, hotspot and location feeds. It is aimed at public safety fleets, police cruisers, transportation, remote video monitoring, industrial IoT and fixed wireless access.

The cellular elements cover 698-960, 1710-2700, 3400-4000 and 5150-5925 MHz, with published North American bands including B14, B41/n41, B48/n48 and n77. Cellular peak gain reaches 8.5 dBi at 3400-3800 and 5150-5925 MHz, and radiated efficiency peaks at 85 percent in the 3400-3800 MHz range. The two Wi-Fi elements cover 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with up to 9 dBi peak gain, and Parsec rates them Wi-Fi 6 compatible. The GPS element operates at 1575.42 MHz with a 28 dB preamp.

The housing is IP67 rated and power-wash safe, and it is built to handle high vibration, debris and inclement weather. The operating range is -30 °C to 85 °C. It installs through a single 1 in hole using the standard 1.25 in bolt. Five 15 ft cables connect to your equipment: LSR200 with SMA male for cellular, LSR200 with RP-SMA male for Wi-Fi, and LSR100 with SMA male for GPS.

Parsec offers a magnetic mount, a mini pole mount bracket, an L bracket, vehicle-specific gaskets for the Dodge Charger and Ford Explorer, and surge arrestors for the Rottweiler family. Parsec also publishes a datasheet and a Rottweiler installation guide for this antenna.
