Overview

The Parsec Belgian Shepherd PRO8BS4L2WBG15B is an IP67 roof-mount antenna for emergency and fleet vehicles. Its 8:1 housing combines four 4G/5G cellular elements for 4x4 MIMO, two Wi-Fi elements, a Bluetooth element and an L1 GPS element. The aerodynamic curved top and gasket seal are designed to withstand highway speeds and bad weather, and this version ships in black with 15 ft cables and the standard 1.25 in bolt.

The Belgian Shepherd PRO Series is Parsec's highest-performing mobile antenna, designed for emergency fleet vehicles and other mobile deployments that need strong cellular connectivity in both urban and rural areas, including regions with poor cellular infrastructure. The PRO8BS4L2WBG15B is the 8:1 configuration: four cellular elements for 4x4 MIMO 4G/5G, two Wi-Fi elements, one Bluetooth element and one L1 GPS element in a single low-profile housing.

Cellular elements cover 617-894 MHz, 1710-2700 MHz, 3400-4000 MHz and 5150-5925 MHz, spanning North American LTE bands including B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B41, B48, B66 and B71 and 5G NR bands n2, n5, n12, n25, n26, n41, n48, n66, n71 and n77, plus EMEA bands. Cellular peak gain reaches 7 dBi and typical radiated efficiency reaches 80%. Wi-Fi covers 2400-2483.5 MHz and 4900-5900 MHz, and the L1 GPS element pairs with a 28 dBic antenna-plus-preamp gain.

The 14.96 x 3.82 x 2.44 in housing has an aerodynamic curved top that minimizes drag, a powerful gasket seal and an IP67 rating against dust and water. The radome is plastic with a UV additive, and the antenna operates from -40 °C to 85 °C. Installation uses a single 1.5 in hole; pole, magnetic and suction cup mounts are available as accessories.
