The Parsec Belgian Shepherd PRO8BS4L2WBG15BS is an IP67-rated, omni-directional 8:1 roof antenna for emergency and fleet vehicles. One low-profile housing holds four 4G/5G cellular elements for 4x4 MIMO, two Wi-Fi elements, a Bluetooth element and an L1 GPS element. It ships in black with 15 ft cables and a 0.6 in short bolt. The aerodynamic curved top is designed to hold up at highway speeds and in bad weather.
The Belgian Shepherd PRO Series is Parsec's highest-performing mobile antenna. It is built for ambulances, police and fire vehicles, city buses and other fleets that need a strong cellular link in cities and in rural areas with thin coverage. This PRO8BS4L2WBG15BS configuration puts eight elements in one housing: four 4G/5G cellular elements for 4x4 MIMO, two Wi-Fi elements, one Bluetooth element and one L1 GPS element. That covers a vehicle router's WAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and location needs from a single roof penetration.
The cellular elements cover 617–894 MHz, 1710–2700 MHz, 3400–4000 MHz and 5150–5925 MHz. That span includes North American LTE bands such as B2, B4, B12, B13, B14, B66 and B71 and 5G NR bands n41, n71 and n77, plus EMEA bands. The Wi-Fi elements cover 2400–2483.5 MHz and 4900–5900 MHz. Radiated efficiency reaches up to 85%. Peak cellular gain is up to 7 dBi, and cellular isolation is up to 20 dB.
The low-profile housing measures 14.96 x 3.82 x 2.44 in. It uses an IP67 enclosure, a UV-stabilized plastic radome and a gasket seal, and it operates from -40 °C to 85 °C. Installation needs a single 1.5 in hole. This SKU uses the short 0.6 in bolt in place of the standard 1.25 in bolt. The cables are 15 ft: LSR200 with SMA(M) for cellular, LSR200 with RP-SMA(M) for Wi-Fi, and LSR100 with SMA(M) for GPS. Pole, magnetic and suction cup mounting accessories are available. The Belgian Shepherd datasheet and installation guide are published for this family.
It contains eight elements in one housing: four 4G/5G cellular elements for 4x4 MIMO, two Wi-Fi elements, one Bluetooth element and one L1 GPS element. The cables are 15 ft and the radome is black.
The cellular and GPS leads terminate in SMA(M) connectors and the Wi-Fi leads in RP-SMA(M). The cellular and Wi-Fi cables are LSR200, and the GPS cable is LSR100.
S indicates the short 0.6 in bolt in place of the standard 1.25 in bolt. The antenna still mounts through a single 1.5 in hole.
Yes. It has an IP67-rated enclosure, a gasket seal and an aerodynamic curved top designed to withstand highway speeds and inclement weather. It operates from -40 °C to 85 °C.
