The Parsec PTA0329 is the large-hole magnetic mount in Parsec's range. It lets you install one of Parsec's larger antennas temporarily on a vehicle roof or other steel surface. The antenna screws into the 1.5 in center hole, and the mount then sits on the roof with no drilling and no permanent change to the vehicle. Parsec lists it for the K9 and Belgian Shepherd antennas (PROK9, PROBS). It also appears in the Australian Shepherd installation instructions as the black Magnetic Boot Mount, and it is listed for the Husky.

Four magnets hold the mount to the roof with 40 lb of pull strength. That keeps a multi-element antenna in place while still allowing it to be lifted off and moved to another vehicle or site.

This makes the PTA0329 useful wherever connectivity has to move: emergency response and incident command vehicles, pop-up events, construction trailers and field testing before a permanent antenna location is chosen. For Parsec's smaller antennas with a 1 in mounting stud, such as the Rottweiler and Doberman, the PTA0330 small-hole magnetic mount is the matching part.
