Overview

The Parsec Labrador PTAWM2L01W-NF is a compact white 2x2 MIMO 4G/5G omni-directional antenna for retail, office and IoT deployments. It covers 617 MHz to 5925 MHz and is rated IP54 for indoor or outdoor use. It mounts to a wall or to a 1.5–2.5 inch pole. This version uses N-type female connectors on 1 ft LSR200 leads, which suits outdoor installs and longer cable runs.

The Labrador PTA Series is a low-footprint 5G antenna for enterprise sites. It suits routers used as a primary connection or for failover, plus IoT gateways that need better cellular signal than their stock antennas deliver. The white housing measures 8.13 x 7.78 x 1.72 inches excluding the bracket and is designed to look unobtrusive in stores and offices.

Two cellular elements feed a router's two cellular antenna ports in 2x2 MIMO. They cover 617–698 MHz, 698–894 MHz, 1710–2700 MHz, 3400–4000 MHz and 5150–5925 MHz. That span includes North American LTE bands such as B12, B13, B14, B48 (CBRS) and B71, and 5G NR bands including n41, n71 and n77. Peak gain reaches 10 dBi in the 5150–5925 MHz range, and isolation between elements reaches 27 dB.

The -NF suffix gives this SKU N-type female connectors in place of the standard SMA. Parsec recommends N-type for outdoor use because the connector is waterproof, and for cable runs longer than 25 ft because it forms a stronger connection. Optional 25 ft LSR240 and 50 ft LSR400 cable kits are available. The antenna itself ships with 1 ft LSR200 leads.

The antenna is IP54 rated and operates from -30 °C to 85 °C. It attaches to non-metallic surfaces with a screw-mounted bracket, or to a 1.5–2.5 inch mast with the V-bolt and saddle clamp pole mount. Performance drops if the antenna sits close to wiring or metal wall studs, so pick a clear location. A datasheet and installation guide are published for the Labrador series.
