Klein RESCUE Remote Speaker Microphone with Emergency Button for Sonim XP Pro

The Klein RESCUE Remote Speaker Microphone (Klein SKU RESCUE-SO4) is a push-to-talk-over-cellular RSM built for the Sonim XP Pro. Klein Electronics makes it, and Sonim sells it as an official accessory. It is designed for first responders, security teams, utilities and industrial crews who need radio-style audio and controls at the shoulder.

Klein designed the RESCUE to screw into Sonim's Secure Audio Connector on the XP Pro, so the RSM stays attached and draws its power from the handset. A built-in amplifier drives the 8 Ω speaker to a tested maximum output of 104 dB ±3 dB, which keeps traffic audible in loud environments. An omni-directional back electret condenser microphone handles transmit audio, with sensitivity of -39 to -33 dB at 1 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 65+ dB. The RSM supports simplex and full-duplex operation.

The controls include a large, tactile PTT button and an orange programmable button for emergency use. The slim, ergonomic body is comfortable to wear through a shift. An audio port accepts a listen-only headset for quieter or discreet monitoring. Listen-only headsets, ear tips and an in-vehicle holder are available separately.

The RESCUE is third-party lab tested to meet the IP67 rating and operates from -25°C to +50°C. It is designed and assembled in the USA and covered by Klein's 3-year comprehensive warranty.
