Sonim Klein VALOR Remote Speaker Microphone for XP Pro (VALOR-SO4-WP)

The Klein VALOR Remote Speaker Microphone is a rugged, Professional Series RSM built for the Sonim XP Pro. Sonim sells it as an official accessory, and it is made by Klein Electronics. It uses the SO4 connector and puts the speaker, microphone and push-to-talk controls on the shoulder, so the handset can stay holstered while crews talk.

The main strength is volume. A built-in amplifier delivers ultra-loud, clear audio, tested to 104 dB output, for work near engines, crowds or machinery. The VALOR combines the speaker and PTT: the speaker itself acts as a PTT button, and dual thumb PTT buttons sit alongside it. These large, tactile controls work with heavy work gloves.

The VALOR has two audio ports for listen-only earpieces, with patented locking cams, on both the top and bottom. The dual ports let you wear the device on the front or the back while keeping the earpiece secure. The Shadow-PRO-V earpiece with a cam-locking connector cable is available as an OEM option, and other listen-only earpieces are also offered.

The housing is a rubber overmold with contoured edges for a sure grip. The VALOR for XP Pro carries a 3-year warranty, which suits teams standardizing on the XP Pro for field work.
