Overview

The Panorama SAB-312 is a mounting kit that lets GPSD4/SHKG4 Dual Sharkee antennas fit neatly on ribbed roof panels common on SUVs and light commercial vehicles, as well as curved or uneven roofs. It includes a slotted mounting bush extender, nut, washer and two foam pads that seal the hole and follow the roof contours.

The Panorama SAB-312 is designed for the GPSD4/SHKG4 Dual Sharkee antenna series. Compatible models include the GPSD4-6-60-Q and GPSD4-6-60-T. Ribbed roof panels, common on SUVs, panel vans, RVs and motorhomes, stop a standard antenna base from seating flat and sealing properly. This kit gives a neat, secure installation on those roofs and on curved or uneven roof panels.

The kit includes a slotted mounting bush extender, nut, washer, a semi closed-cell outer EPDM foam pad and a closed-cell silicone inner foam pad. Once the antenna and pads are fitted and correctly compressed, the pads seal the mounting hole and mould to the roof contours for a clean finish.

The slotted bush, nut and washers let larger connectors such as FAKRA pass through the extender tube. Pre-terminated antenna cables can be fed through without cutting or re-terminating, which saves time on fleet installations.

The kit is black and panel mounted. Panorama publishes a datasheet for the SAB-312.
