The RHINO T80 is an 8-inch LTE Android tablet built for enterprise deployment in healthcare, transportation, warehouse and logistics, food and beverage, hospitality and retail. It ships on Android 13, with Android 14 announced as coming soon. It is Android Enterprise Recommended and Google Play Protect certified, and it runs stock, bloat-free Android. It supports zero-touch enrollment, so IT can ship devices that enroll in any Android MDM on first power-on. The RHINO OEMConfig app adds EMM-independent controls for granular device management.
The tablet runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (SM6225 octa-core, 2.4GHz) with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage. A microSD slot supports cards up to 1TB. The 8-inch 800x1280 IPS display offers 205 PPI, up to 380 nits and 5-point touch. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP autofocus front camera. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS with A-GPS, Galileo and QZSS. VoLTE and Vo-WiFi are supported.
For cellular use, the T80 covers a broad set of LTE bands, including 2, 4, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71, and accepts both a nano-SIM and an eSIM. Certifications include PTCRB, AT&T Network Certified, AT&T FirstNet Ready, T-Mobile Network Certified for IoT and Certified for Verizon Business. The 5100 mAh Li-ion polymer battery supports 18W Quick Charge 2.0 and PD over USB-C and is rated for 18 days of standby. Magnetic pogo pins provide dock charging. The tablet is IP52 rated and drop-tested to 0.5m.
Rhino Mobility guarantees availability for a minimum of three years, which helps keep a fleet standardised on one model. RHINO hardware carries a 1 year limited warranty. Rhino Mobility publishes a spec sheet, quick start guide and user manual for the T80.
