Overview

The Panorama TRNMG4-6-60 gives rolling stock a full 4x4 MIMO antenna set - four wideband elements covering 617 MHz to 6 GHz - plus GPS/GNSS, from one rail-mount roof housing. It covers 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz cellular; GPS/GNSS and delivers 26 dB active GNSS LNA of gain through a N-type and TNC connections connector. It is the transit antenna specified when the onboard router finally goes 5G.

  • 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz cellular; GPS/GNSS operating frequency range
  • 26 dB active GNSS LNA antenna gain
  • N-type and TNC connections connector termination
  • Black housing finish
  • Rail roof mount / panel mounting
  • Panorama part number TRNMG4-6-60
  • Install in seconds - hand-thread the N-type and TNC connections connector onto the port, no tools or software
  • Keep every band usable with continuous 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz cellular; GPS/GNSS coverage instead of narrowband whips

The Panorama TRNMG4-6-60 is the 4x4 member of Panorama's transit antenna series for trains, trams, and buses. Four wideband elements cover 617-960 and 1427-6000 MHz, delivering true 4x4 MIMO for Cat 18 LTE and 5G NR service, while the integrated GPS/GNSS module feeds train positioning and timing. The series supports L1 or multi-band GNSS options and optional Wi-Fi in other variants.

RF performance is matched to cellular service: the element operates from 617-960 / 1427-6000 MHz cellular; GPS/GNSS with 26 dB active GNSS LNA of gain and terminates in a N-type and TNC connections connector. The 617 MHz floor takes in low-band 5G (n71), which matters on rural rail corridors where low band is the only coverage.

Transit 5G upgrades stall at the roof: legacy 2x2 antennas halve a new router's radio before it boots. This housing brings four low-correlation elements and GNSS through the existing style of rail fixing, keeping possession time short and certification straightforward.

Cloud Care Networks stocks the Panorama TRNMG4-6-60 alongside the gateways and routers it supports, so IT and field-service teams can consolidate antennas, spares, and replacement hardware on a single order.

Ideal for

  • 5G onboard router upgrades for trains and trams
  • Transit AVL and passenger information positioning
  • Rural rail corridors relying on low-band 5G
  • Bus rapid transit fleets standardizing on rail hardware

Questions buyers ask

Which hardware is the TRNMG4-6-60 designed for?

Pair it with 4x4-capable onboard routers and gateways - 5G rail platforms from Sierra Wireless, Moxa, Kontron, and similar. Cellular paths terminate N-type with TNC for GNSS; confirm your router's port map before ordering jumpers.

What connector does it use?

It uses a N-type and TNC connections connector. Confirm your router or gateway exposes a matching port before ordering; most fixed wireless devices in this class do.

What is included in the box?

The TRNMG4-6-60 antenna unit with N-type/TNC connections. Jumper cables to the onboard router are ordered separately to suit the carbody cable route.

Is there a warranty?

It is covered under Panorama's standard accessory warranty. Cloud Care Networks can confirm the current term and handle RMAs on your behalf.
