The StarTech.com USBLT1MB is a standard-length 1 m (3.3 ft) Lightning to USB-A cable for charging and syncing Lightning-equipped Apple mobile devices through any available USB-A port on a PC, Mac or USB charger. The black PVC jacket is colored to suit black Apple devices, and the standard length makes it a direct replacement for a damaged or misplaced Lightning cable.

The cable is Apple MFi certified. The reversible 8-pin Lightning connector plugs into the device with either side facing up, so there is no wrong way to insert it. On the host end, a USB-A male connector is rated at 480 Mbps and 2.5 W, giving USB 2.0 speed for backups, photo transfers and file sync alongside everyday charging.
