The StarTech.com UUSBOTGRA is a 5-inch Micro USB On-The-Go host adapter cable. It connects USB 2.0 thumb drives, keyboards and mice to an OTG-capable smartphone or tablet. The right-angle Micro USB-B male connector routes the cable along the device edge. That lets you hold the device comfortably while reducing strain on the port. The cable uses 28 AWG wire, aluminum-Mylar foil with braided shielding and a PVC jacket. It carries a lifetime warranty.

The StarTech.com UUSBOTGRA turns a Micro USB tablet or smartphone that supports USB On-The-Go into a USB host. It connects to a standard USB-A peripheral such as a flash drive, keyboard or mouse. It suits mobile workers and field staff who need to move files or type on a device while travelling.

The cable runs straight to right angle. One end is a USB-A female port, and the other is a right-angle Micro USB-B male connector. Both ends are rated at 480Mbps and 2.5W. The angled plug lets you position the cable and the attached USB device so the phone or tablet stays comfortable to hold. It also takes pressure off the connection.
