Overview

The Panorama GPSD-6-60-DW is the dual Wi-Fi version of the Sharkee 4G/5G shark fin. One black OEM-style housing combines several antennas: • 2x2 MIMO cellular covering 617–960 and 1710–6000 MHz • 2x2 MIMO dual-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 6 support • An active GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou antenna • A stud mount for VHF, UHF or 700/800 MHz radio whips It installs through a single hole, is IP69K certified and suits in-vehicle routers that serve both cellular and Wi-Fi.

The Panorama GPSD-6-60-DW adds 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi to the Sharkee 4G/5G shark fin. The result is a one-housing antenna for vehicle routers that deliver in-vehicle Wi-Fi as well as cellular backhaul and GPS. It suits police, EMS and fire, utility, transit and industrial fleets where roof space is limited.

The 2x2 MIMO cellular elements cover 617–960 MHz and 1710–6000 MHz. Published gain is 5 dBi at 617–960 MHz, 8 dBi at 1710–3800 MHz and 9 dBi at 4900–6000 MHz, and the antenna is Band 71 600 MHz ready. The dual-band 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi elements support Wi-Fi 6. The active GNSS antenna receives GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. It uses a 26 dB LNA with advanced filtering for LTE Band 13/14 operation.

An integrated stud mount takes a range of VHF, UHF or 700/800 MHz mobile radio whips, and a blanking cap is supplied for vehicles that do not need one. When a whip is used, install the antenna on a metal panel. Without a whip, a non-metallic panel offers similar performance. Magnetic mounting is supported for temporary installs.

The housing measures 243 x 63 x 90 mm, is IP69K certified and is rated from -40 °C to +80 °C. All leads are 0.3 m FR RG174 cable, terminated as follows: • Cellular: SMA (m) • Wi-Fi: SMA (f) • GPS: FME (f) The cable feeds are compliant with UN ECE R118 and EN45545-2 HL3. The shape fits between roof ribs on all major vehicle makes and can replace a factory-fitted antenna.

Questions buyers ask

How many Wi-Fi connections does the GPSD-6-60-DW have?

It has 2x2 MIMO dual-band Wi-Fi elements, each on a 0.3 m lead terminating in SMA (f). Panorama states the Wi-Fi supports Wi-Fi 6.

What connectors are used for cellular and GPS?

Cellular leads terminate in SMA (m) and the GPS lead in FME (f). All leads are 0.3 m FR RG174 cable.

Can I mount a two-way radio whip?
