Havis Docking Station for Panasonic Toughbook 33 and Toughbook 33 with 5G, Standard Port, Dual Pass-Thru Antenna

The Havis Docking Station for Panasonic Toughbook 33 and Toughbook 33 with 5G (Havis part number DS-PAN-1211-2, Panasonic part number HA-33TVDS2) is built for tablets that live in vehicles across material handling, utility services, waste management and other demanding environments. It supports both the standard Toughbook 33 and the 5G model, so a mixed fleet can standardize on one dock.

Standard port replication connects mission-critical peripherals: four USB 2.0 ports (two front-facing), two USB 3.0 ports, two RJ45 Ethernet ports and one powered 9-pin DB9 serial port. Two TNC connectors provide dual antenna pass-through for external vehicle antennas. A spring-loaded, floating docking connector head keeps the connection through heavy vibration, and the tablet docks and undocks with one hand. An integrated cable management system keeps the install tidy, and the dock mounts to an integrated VESA 75 pattern.

The dock is polycarbonate for strength and extreme temperature resistance, with rounded edges and corners, and weighs 3.3 lbs. A supplied lock and key deters theft. Testing covers MIL-STD 810H 514.8 vibration, SAE J1455 30mph crash, 30K dock/undock cycles, MIL-STD 810H Method 503.7 thermal shock, EN 55032 and EN 50498 EMC, and IEC 10605 ESD. The operating range is -10° C to 50° C (14° F to 122° F), and the storage range is -40° C to 85° C (-40° F to 185° F). Certifications are FCC, CE, CAN ICES (B) and RoHS.

The dock is not compatible with a tablet that has any rotating hand strap combined with a quick-release SSD, 5G modem or Long Life Battery. A sales sheet and owner's manual are available.
