Overview

The Panorama Sharkee SH-IN2440 is a black OEM-style sharkfin vehicle antenna with five antenna functions in one housing. It combines 2x2 MIMO cellular covering 698-960 and 1710-3800 MHz, 2x2 MIMO 2.4/5.8 GHz Wi-Fi and an active GPS/GNSS module, each on fitted 5 m (16.4 ft) cables. It mounts through a single hole and is IP66 rated and ECE R118 compliant.

The Panorama Sharkee SH-IN2440 is part of Panorama's best-selling SHK[G]-7-27 sharkfin series. It puts a vehicle's cellular, Wi-Fi and GPS antennas into one discreet, automotive-style housing. This black 5-in-1 version contains 2x2 MIMO cellular, 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi and one active GPS/GNSS module. It suits public safety (overt or covert), fleet, industrial and transport vehicles where roof space is limited.

The cellular elements cover 698-960 MHz at 2 dBi and 1710-3800 MHz at 5 dBi, with an omnidirectional pattern and 25 W maximum input power. Panorama lists 2G/3G/4G and 5G support within these ranges. Wi-Fi covers 2.4 and 5.8 GHz. The GPS/GNSS module covers 1562-1612 MHz with a 26 dB LNA, for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou positioning.

Each function comes pre-fitted with a 5 m (16.4 ft) FR RG174 cable: two cellular leads with SMA male connectors, two Wi-Fi leads with reverse-polarity SMA connectors, and one GPS lead with an SMA male connector. The housing measures 170 x 60 x 50 mm (6.69 x 2.36 x 1.97 in), is rated IP66, and operates from -40 °C to +80 °C. Cable flammability ratings include EN45545-2 HL3, UN ECE R118 and EN6722. The antenna is TAA compliant, and Cradlepoint IBR600, IBR900 and IBR1100 compact routers are listed as compatible.

Because it needs only a single mounting hole, the Sharkee reduces vehicle damage, installation time and cost, and helps protect resale value. A datasheet and installation instructions are available.
