The Zebra TC501 (TC501G-321B1A1A01-NA) is a rugged Android mobile computer configured for North America. It has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 at 2.0 GHz, and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB flash. The TC501 is Zebra's most powerful and most rugged TC5 Series handheld, and it succeeds the TC52x, TC57x and TC52ax. Part number TC501G-321B1A1A01-NA is the North America WWAN build. It supports 5G NR Sub-6 (NSA and SA, Release 17) on one physical SIM plus Dual eSIM, with dual SIM/dual standby, private cellular bands and CBRS in the US. Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with multi-link operation and Bluetooth 6.0 complete the wireless set. A Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 at 2.0 GHz, with a dedicated AI engine, runs Android on 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 flash. The microSD slot accepts cards up to 2 TB.

This configuration uses the SR560 1D/2D scan engine. Its red laser cross-hair aimer and white illumination are designed for moderate to intense scanning. The improved 2D barcode finder works in bright sunlight and tolerates motion, so workers can scan on the move. Integrated UHF RFID reads more than 200 tags per second at up to 2 m. NFC supports contactless payments and wallet passes, and the device carries a 50 MP autofocus rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.

The 6-inch 2160 x 1080 AMOLED display reaches 1500 nits peak and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It accepts glove and wet-finger input. The TC501 is sealed to IP68 and IP65, exceeds MIL-STD-810H with 8 ft drops to concrete at room temperature, and is rated for 2000 tumbles.

Power comes from a hot-swappable 5000 mAh (19.45 Wh) Li-Ion standard battery with PowerPrecision+ metrics. Zebra fast charging takes it from 0 to 70% in 45 minutes. For security, the device uses a Secure Element with Android Strongbox, carries FIPS 140-3 validation and Common Criteria certification, and supports Secure Boot and Verified Boot. The box contains the mobile computer, a Regulatory Guide and a Quick Start Guide.
