Overview

The Zebra TC501 (TC501G-321E1A1A01-NA) is the long-range scanning configuration of Zebra's 5G, Wi-Fi 7 rugged Android handheld, built for North America. Its AC670 advanced-range color 1D/2D scan engine captures barcodes and high-resolution color photos up to 100 ft (30 m) away. The device runs a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 at 2.0 GHz with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB flash. It adds integrated UHF RFID, a 6-inch 1500-nit AMOLED display and a hot-swappable 5000 mAh battery.

The Zebra TC501 TC501G-321E1A1A01-NA puts Zebra's premium scan engine in its most capable TC5 Series handheld. The AC670 advanced-range color 1D/2D imager reads barcodes and captures high-resolution color photos at up to 100 ft (30 m). Workers can scan top-shelf labels, overhead locations and items out of reach without a ladder or a second device. Integrated short-range UHF RFID reads more than 200 tags per second at up to 2 m. NFC with EMVCo contactless payment support, a 50 MP autofocus rear camera and an 8 MP front camera complete the capture set.

This North America WWAN SKU supports 5G NR Sub-6 (NSA and SA, Release 17) on one physical SIM plus Dual eSIM, with private cellular and CBRS (US only). It also has tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with multi-link operation and Bluetooth 6.0. A Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 at 2.0 GHz with a dedicated AI engine, 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 flash runs Android, and the microSD slot takes cards up to 2 TB. The TC501 replaces the TC52x, TC57x and TC52ax, and Zebra rates it at up to 300% more performance.

The 6-inch 2160 x 1080 AMOLED display reaches 1500 nits peak under Gorilla Glass Victus, and it works with gloves or wet fingers. The housing is sealed to IP68 and IP65, handles 8 ft (2.44 m) drops to concrete at room temperature, or 9 ft with the rugged boot, and is rated for 2000 tumbles.

The hot-swappable 5000 mAh (19.45 Wh) standard battery reaches 70% charge in 45 minutes with Zebra fast-charging options. For security, the device uses a Secure Element with Android Strongbox, holds FIPS 140-3 validation and Common Criteria certification, and supports Secure Boot and Verified Boot. The box contains the mobile computer, a Regulatory Guide and a Quick Start Guide.
