About This Device
The Klein Valor remote speaker microphone brings shoulder-worn, radio-style communications to four Sonim rugged phones — the XP5s, XP8, XP5plus, and XP10 — through Klein's SO3 wired connector. For crews that came up on land-mobile radio, the Valor makes a Sonim PTT phone work exactly the way their radios did: traffic plays through a speaker at the shoulder, and transmitting is one press of the mic's PTT button.
An RSM earns its place wherever users need to hear the channel while moving and keep both hands free. The Valor's projected speaker audio carries over ambient noise without isolating the wearer the way a headset does, and the microphone's fixed shoulder position keeps transmit audio consistent, take after take. The PTT button is sized for gloved hands — line-crew, dock, and patrol conditions were the design assumption, not the exception.
As a wired accessory, the Valor is powered entirely through the phone connection. Nothing pairs, nothing charges, nothing gets separated from its device overnight. Fleet managers can issue a Valor with each Sonim phone and treat the pair as a single managed unit.
The VALOR-SO3-WP carries UPC 610452278881 with a listed shipping weight of 0.55 lb, distributed by Social Mobile. For the Sonim XP Pro, order the VALOR-SO4-WP version with that phone's connector.
