The ATEL V810A is a 4G LTE fixed wireless access (FWA) gateway designed to do one job well: deliver a cellular WAN connection to a business site over a clean Ethernet handoff. It deliberately omits built-in Wi-Fi, which is exactly what many IT teams want - the gateway terminates the LTE connection, and routing, security, and wireless stay on the equipment you already manage. There is no second wireless network to configure, secure, or explain to auditors. That architecture makes the V810A a natural fit for three deployments. First, fast site turn-up: new locations, temporary offices, and construction trailers get working internet the day the SIM activates, instead of waiting weeks for carrier construction.
