Eaton Tripp Lite B093-004-2E4U-V 4-Port Console Server with 4G LTE Cellular Gateway and Dual SIM

The Eaton Tripp Lite series B093-004-2E4U-V is a 4-port serial console server with a built-in 4G LTE cellular gateway. It gives network teams secure in-band and out-of-band access to routers, switches, firewalls, PBX systems, UPS systems and PDUs. It suits wiring closets, branch offices, kiosks, point-of-sale and other remote sites where problems must be found and fixed quickly, including when the primary network is down.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports provide a primary connection with automatic failover. The 4G LTE modem with two SIM slots adds an independent out-of-band path. The four console ports use standard Cat5e/6 patch cable to connect to Cisco devices. USB 2.0 console ports reach newer PDUs and UPS systems, including units with WEBCARDLX or other LX Platform remote management cards. Authentication integrates with TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP and Kerberos directory servers, and 4Gb of flash handles log and file storage.

Security support includes PCI DSS 3.2, an embedded FIPS 140-2 validated OpenSSL cryptographic module (Certificate #2473), SSL and SSH, a stateful firewall, and OpenVPN and IPSec VPN. An embedded DHCP server can host a separate management LAN for critical traffic, and each gateway can port forward to an unlimited number of locally networked hosts. PowerMan handles PDU and RPC management, and Network UPS Tools handles UPS monitoring, so you can control power to connected equipment remotely.

The fanless, heavy-duty steel housing measures 5.1 x 4.7 x 1.4 in and weighs 1.3 lb. It installs in a 1U space in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included brackets, or it sits on a desktop on the included rubber feet. It is rated to operate from -25° to 60°C. The box includes two antenna blades, a dual-SIM cradle, a 12V external power supply with four international plug adapters, a DB9F to RJ45 crossover serial adapter and a Quick Start Guide. The unit is TAA compliant and carries a 2-year limited warranty.
