Overview

The InHand Networks CPE02-NANR is the North American model of the CPE02 indoor 5G router. It is built on a Qualcomm X62 5G module and turns 5G SA/NSA or 4G LTE service into AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 and wired Ethernet through one 2.5GbE port and one 1GbE port. It supports up to 200 users, including 128 on Wi-Fi, and is managed from InCloud Manager. It suits retail stores, restaurants, clinics and hybrid offices that need fast broadband without a fixed ISP line.

The CPE02 is InHand Networks' indoor 5G customer premises equipment for businesses that want high-speed broadband over cellular. The CPE02-NANR is the US variant. It uses a Qualcomm X62 5G module with 4×4 MIMO Sub-6 GHz and 256QAM. Peak rates are 2.6 Gbps down and 650 Mbps up on 5G NSA, 2.0 Gbps down and 1.0 Gbps up on 5G SA, and 600 Mbps down and 150 Mbps up on 4G LTE. It covers North American 5G bands including n2, n5, n25, n41, n66, n71, n77 and n78. SIM options are one Nano 4FF slot plus an embedded Verizon eSIM, with SIM1-only, eSIM-only or dual-SIM policies.

On the LAN side, the US model has one 2.5GbE and one 1GbE port with WAN/LAN switching and dual LAN support. Dual-band AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 provides multiple SSIDs, SSID VLANs and WPA/WPA2/WPA3 encryption. An IPQ5018 processor delivers 1 Gbps firewall throughput and is rated for 200 recommended users, with 128 of them on Wi-Fi.

For business continuity, the CPE02 supports dual WAN using cellular and wired links, real-time link detection and automatic failover. Built-in tools include IPsec, L2TP and OpenVPN, URL filtering, IP Passthrough, DDNS and static routing. InCloud Manager adds zero-touch deployment, bulk remote upgrades, configuration deployment, connector remote maintenance and two-factor authentication. Its dashboard shows traffic, cellular signal and client statistics.

The unit measures 105 × 105 × 217 mm, weighs 800 g and mounts on a desktop or wall. It draws 12 V / 2 A at ≤ 15 W and is certified CE, FCC, IC and PTCRB, with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile certifications. The box includes the router, Ethernet cable, power adaptor, mounting kit and user guide.

Does the CPE02-NANR include an eSIM?

Yes. The NANR model has an embedded Verizon eSIM and a Nano 4FF SIM slot. You can run SIM1 only, eSIM only or a dual-SIM policy.
