Overview

The InHand Networks CR202-NAC6-WLAN-B-Lite is the North American LTE Cat 6 version of the CR202-Lite portable router, with Wi-Fi and a detachable 3000mAh battery. It provides 4G LTE at up to 300 Mbps down, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and two 10/100 Ethernet ports for up to 32 devices. The battery runs up to 8 hours, and the router can also run continuously from its USB-C supply. It suits travel, pop-up and small-site connectivity.

The CR202-Lite is a compact cellular router that combines 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and wired access in a 122 × 75 × 26.4 mm body weighing 235 g. This part number is the North American Cat 6 model. WLAN means Wi-Fi is included, and B means it ships with the detachable 3000mAh lithium battery. It covers LTE-FDD bands B2/B4/B5/B7/B12/B13/B14/B25/B26/B29/B30/B66/B71 and LTE-TDD B41/B48, at up to 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up.

The router has a Nano-SIM slot and an embedded Verizon eSIM. Dual-SIM failover is supported only on the North American model, and ICMP-based link detection can switch to the backup SIM when the active link stops passing traffic. Link backup options include hot backup, cold backup and load balancing, plus heartbeat detection, auto-reconnect and a watchdog for fault recovery.

Local access comes from 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi at up to 300 Mbps in AP or STA mode. Two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports offer WAN/LAN switching and dual LAN. Data throughput is rated at 100 Mbps for up to 32 users. Security features include an SPI firewall, DoS protection, ACL, URL filtering, DMZ and port mapping.

The router is managed through Web, SSH or Telnet, and fleets can use InHand Device Manager for bulk upgrades, traffic thresholds and alarms. It is certified FCC, IC, PTCRB, CE and UN38.3, with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and FirstNet certifications. The warranty is 3 years, with 1 year on the battery. The box includes the router, 3000mAh battery, power supply, Ethernet cable and user guide.
