Overview

The InHand Networks CR202-NAC6-WLAN-B-Pro is the North American LTE Cat 6 version of the CR202-Pro portable router, with Wi-Fi and a built-in 5000mAh battery. It combines 4G LTE at up to 300 Mbps down, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and two Ethernet ports. It adds dual-SIM failover with an eSIM, VPN options including IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard and ZeroTier, and SNMP. It suits travel, remote work, retail and field sites.

The CR202-Pro is InHand Networks' feature-rich portable 4G router. It combines cellular, wired and Wi-Fi access in a 119 × 75 × 33 mm body that weighs 265 g. In this part number, NAC6 is the North American LTE Cat 6 modem, WLAN means Wi-Fi is included, and B means battery. It covers LTE-FDD bands B2/4/5/7/12/13/14/25/26/29/30/66/71 and LTE-TDD B41/48, at up to 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up.

A built-in 5000mAh lithium battery is rated for up to 12 hours, and the router also runs from a USB Type-C 5 V / 2 A supply. For reliability, a Nano 4FF SIM slot and an eSIM support dual-SIM failover. Link backup, heartbeat link detection with auto-redial, and an embedded watchdog keep the connection up.

The Pro adds security and management tools for business use. These include IPsec VPN, OpenVPN client and server, WireGuard and ZeroTier, CA digital certificates, an SPI firewall, DoS defense, ACL, URL filtering and IP-MAC binding. QoS bandwidth limits, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 with traps, and local and remote logging round out the feature set. Configuration is via web, SSH or Telnet, and fleets can use InHand Device Manager for batch upgrades, traffic thresholds and alarms.

Local access is 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi at up to 300 Mbps in AP or STA mode, plus two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN switching and dual LAN. It is rated for 30 users and 100 Mbps data throughput. The router is IP30 rated, fanless and panel or wall mountable. It is certified FCC, PTCRB, IC and UN38.3, with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile certifications. The warranty is 3 years, with 1 year on the battery.
