The Honeywell ScanPal EDA10A is a rugged yet lightweight 10.1-inch Android tablet for mobile business users in retail, warehouse, manufacturing and field service. This configuration, EDA10A-11BE94N21UK, combines 5G and Wi-Fi 6 with 8 GB RAM, 128 GB flash and the Honeywell S0703 Slim Imager, a standard-range (0-1 m) engine that reads 1D and 2D barcode symbologies, including damaged codes. Dedicated left and right scan keys on the side and a touch scan key on the bottom edge put scanning under either thumb, with red/green scan indication.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon SM4350-AC octa-core processor running at up to 2.2 GHz powers a 1920 x 1200 Full HD display rated at 550 nits and protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The multi-touch capacitive screen supports glove, wet-hand and oily-hand modes. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) with 2x2 MU-MIMO and WPA3, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC round out connectivity. There is a 16 MP autofocus rear camera for documenting work and an 8 MP front camera for video calls.

The tablet weighs 674 g (1.49 lb) and measures 11.7 mm thick. It is IP65 sealed and rated for multiple 1.3 m (4.3 ft) drops to concrete per MIL-STD-810H, or 2.0 m (6.6 ft) with the optional protective boot. It also meets MIL-STD-810H vibration requirements for vehicle mounting. The removable, hot-swappable 8,000 mAh Li-Ion battery is rated for more than 12 hours of runtime.

Honeywell includes Device Client Pack software, Smart Talk unified communications with push-to-talk, and certification with third-party MDM solutions. The display dock and split-screen mode turn the EDA10A into a desktop workstation with keyboard and mouse for guiding production lines. It is backed by a one-year factory warranty.
