This TAA-compliant Platinum configuration pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 3) with 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, a removable 512GB Gen 4 SSD and an anti-reflective 13-inch OLED PixelSense Flow display. It connects over 5G NR or Gigabit LTE through nanoSIM or eSIM and can share that connection with up to 8 devices.

The Surface Pro for Business, 13-inch (12th Edition) with 5G is built for people who work at a desk one hour and in the field the next. It works as a pen-and-touch tablet or, with the built-in 165-degree kickstand and a Surface Pro 13-inch Keyboard (sold separately), as a laptop. This configuration, MPN EP2-55458, is the TAA-compliant version of EP2-54636, in Platinum, with US English, Canadian French and Spanish language support.
An Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 3) with a 50 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU runs demanding apps and local AI workloads, backed by 32GB of LPDDR5x memory and a removable 512GB Gen 4 SSD. The 13-inch OLED PixelSense Flow touchscreen offers 2880 x 1920 resolution at 267 PPI, a dynamic refresh rate up to 120Hz, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and an anti-reflective, ISO 9241-307 certified surface, with up to 900 nits HDR peak brightness.
The integrated modem supports 5G NR SA/NSA with downloads up to 2.9 Gbps and 4G Gigabit LTE-Advanced Pro (Cat 19, up to 1.6 Gbps), plus nanoSIM and eSIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and GNSS location. Microsoft rates it at up to 17.5 hours of local video playback and up to 7.5 hours of active web use on cellular.
For IT teams, it is a Windows 11 Secured-core PC with TPM 2.0, BitLocker support, the Microsoft Pluton security processor and Windows Hello facial recognition with Enhanced Sign-in Security. Does this Surface Pro have a SIM slot or eSIM?
Both. The Wi-Fi + 5G model has a nanoSIM slot and eSIM support, and can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 8 devices.
How long does the battery last on cellular?
Microsoft rates the Wi-Fi + 5G model at up to 17.5 hours of local video playback and up to 7.5 hours of active web usage when connected over cellular. The OLED model has a 53 Wh nominal battery.
Can I connect external monitors?
Yes. The two USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort 2.1 and up to three 4K monitors at 60Hz through compatible docks or daisy chain.
Is a keyboard or pen included?
No. The Surface Slim Pen (2nd Edition) and Surface Pro 13-inch Keyboards are sold separately.
