InHand Networks ER605 4G LTE Cat 6 Edge Router with 5 Gigabit Ethernet Ports (North America, ER605-FF39)

The ER605 is an InHand Networks edge access router that connects stores and offices through cellular or wired broadband. The ER605-FF39 is the North American 4G LTE Cat 6 configuration, supporting LTE-FDD bands B2/B4/B5/B7/B12/B13/B25/B26/B29/B30/B66. It is the non-Wi-Fi version. Other ER605 part numbers carry 5G or Wi-Fi, but this model provides LTE and wired LAN only, through two SMA cellular antenna connectors.

Five 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports support WAN/LAN switching and dual WAN. You can run wired broadband and LTE together with link backup, load balancing and real-time link detection. Dual Nano-SIM slots with SIM switching add carrier redundancy. The router is rated at 500 Mbps throughput and 30–50 Mbps IPsec VPN throughput for 50 to 100 users, and has 256 MB RAM and 128 MB flash.

The routing and security feature set is broad. It includes IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, DHCP snooping, SNMP, static routing, OSPF, BGP and RIP. VPN options are IPsec, L2TP, VXLAN, GRE and SSL VPN. Security covers a 3-layer firewall with SNAT/DNAT, black/white lists, domain filtering, portal authentication and 802.1X, plus QoS by link, IP and protocol. With InCloud Manager, the ER605 joins an SD-WAN as a spoke and gets zero-touch deployment, bulk upgrades, two-factor authentication and dashboards for traffic, cellular signal and client analysis.

The router uses a fanless metal enclosure measuring 198 × 137 × 25 mm and weighing 848 g, with bracket or wall mounting and an IP30 rating. It runs on 12 V / 2 A with peak power of ≤ 24 W and operates from -10 °C to +50 °C. Certifications include CE and EMC Level 2, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T, and PTCRB and IC certificates for the ER605-FF39.
